Management Change Comes After Mixed Response
Brinkman steps into the leadership position at 31st Union following the exit of previous head the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' underwhelming early showing last autumn.
On Wednesday, the company's top executive David Ismailer notified team members about this decision through an official communication, which stressed that early feedback sessions had indicated the need for a clearer vision.
Ismailer stated that the team is now refining the project with a refreshed vision, aiming to address gamer demands.

Ben’s leadership and background in the PVP shooter genre is vast, having dedicated the past decade and a half developing and overseeing some of the most well-known series in the industry, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, and most recently, the battle royale hit.

The appointee presently holds the role of senior developer and production lead at Respawn Entertainment for their flagship title.
